Zion Trip

This past week, I have been at Zion Ntl Park with a group called "SciencePlus" doing some science inquiry. To be honest, at first I didn't know why in the world, after just finishing my thesis, that I took on another class. But, now that the trip is at an end, I think I've had some good experiences. Here are a few pictures of our trip...

This is my van group at Dalton Wash-we bonded over the week, and had some great laughs! Overlooking Hurricane Mesa-The most gnat infested place ever! We were so eaten alive, I thought I was going to DIE!

We did belly races down the dunes (I WON!)... and it was AWESOME! Seriously the funnest time I've had in a while! Our plan was to hike the narrows the next day, but due to the rain, we weren't able to.

Father's Day Fun

I can't believe how big our family is...seeing everyone at my mom's house today for Father's Day made me realize how much we have grown, and keep growing! Sure hope someday I'll be able to add some little ones to this on-growing family! :) Happy Father's Day, Dad! Shelby & Dakota with their darling new bunnies Kambree & Shelby...they were hooked at the hip tonight! They are both the same age-going into 1st grade this upcoming school year.

Ok, So I couldn't get this video to rotate for the LIFE of me, but this is my 66 year-old mom playing the Hula Hoop game on the WII...she is WAY good!!! She does WII Fit everyday! Go Mom!! (She'll kill me for posting this...teehee!)

Quick Vegas trip

My good friend Erin Colleen invited me to take a quick Vegas trip with her..."Heck yes, I'll come!" It was so nice to get away for a little trip and just hang out with her. We were talking about this on the way home, but the best thing about good friends is that you don't have to "be something" for them...just be you. That's what I love about Erin Colleen...she always has been a good friend, she always will be. Thanks, Erin Colleen! Love that we both won some cash! :) My favorite thing in the world is to watch the water show...it always melts my heart...especially when they play good music to it!

What the?

The other day I was sitting in the Mimi's Cafe parking lot in my car waiting for a friend. Out of the corner of my eye I saw this girl walk right up to my door.

"Do you have a cigarette?"

I almost laughed out loud!

What in the world? Did I look like I had just been smoking? I seriously had to laugh at that one...never have I been asked that question...
